Dr. Matthew McMasters

Dr. McMasters is a life long resident of Giles County. He was raised in the small town of Minor Hill and is a graduate of Giles County High School. He received his Associate in Arts degree in 1991 from Martin Methodist College. He then furthered his education at Middle Tennessee State University, graduating in 1994 with a dual degree in Chemistry and Biology. Upon graduation, Dr. McMasters took a position as a research chemist for Zeneca Specialties, Inc., where he completed research for their pharmaceutical division. He was involved in the research and develop of treatments for diseases such as AIDS, cancer, osteoporosis, and Paget’s Disease. After 3 ½ years of intense research and development, Dr. McMasters decided to return to school to continue his education. He was accepted to the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry, and graduated in 2001. He immediately returned to his hometown of Pulaski and started his practice. In late 2010, he had the opportunity to also work in Ardmore. For a few years, he practiced at both locations, but ultimately decided to concentrate his efforts solely in Ardmore.

Dr. McMasters has built his practice based on strong principles of honesty, integrity, and compassion. He is committed to excellence and working side by side with patients in addressing their treatment needs, as well as helping them obtain their personal vision of oral health. He has a special interest in restorative and cosmetic dentistry and he strives to treat every patient as conservatively as possible. He will only recommend treatment that he would have performed on himself or his family.

Dr. McMasters is married to Holly, and they have two daughters, Kinsley and Kaitlyn.
